THE UNITED STATES VIRGIN ISLANDS (USVI)
St. Thomas, St. Croix, St. John, Water Island

Two CAT 5 Hurricanes, Irma and Maria, hit the islands within two weeks of each other in September 2017 leaving widespread devastation. Hospitals, clinics, and schools were decimated or crippled.

To put the damage in context, WAPA, the islands utility company, stated that approximately 98% of the power infrastructure was destroyed.  WAPA's dedicated lineman, with the aid of an estimated 1000 off-island lineman, have worked diligently to restore power. Many residents have not had their power restored in the 100+ days since the storms.

Hurricane Season begins in six months, June 1, 2018.  Your donation will help the islands recover, rebuild, and prepare.
